In the summer of 2010 I designed my own curriculum and class projects to teach an introductory electrical engineering / computer science course to students enrolled in the Stanford's Education Program for the Gifted Youth. The EPGY Summer Institutes High School Program provides intensive study opportunities for current 8th through 11th graders (ages 14-17). EPGY courses take students above and beyond what they see in a typical high school classroom, and dive deeply into college-level content and instructional style. Rigorous, challenging courses cover a wide range of subject areas: Creative & Expository Writing, Humanities, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Business, Economics and Social Science.
